Who We Are

Founded in 2011 by Sandpoint, Idaho native Dan Peterson, Tork Electric Inc. was built on a commitment to quality workmanship, dependable service, and strong relationships within the North Idaho community. After years honing his craft and earning his Idaho Master Journeyman license, Dan launched the company with a vision of creating an electrical contractor known for professionalism, reliability, and exceptional workmanship.

Today, Tork Electric has grown into a well-established electrical contractor serving homeowners, builders, architects, designers, and commercial clients throughout the Idaho Panhandle. Backed by a highly experienced team, we have the expertise and resources to support everything from custom luxury homes to large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

Co-Owner

Dan Peterson

Dan Peterson is the co-owner of Tork Electric and has worked in the electrical industry for more than 25 years. A lifelong Sandpoint resident, Dan began his career in the trade at just 17 years old and always knew he wanted to own and operate his own company. Driven by that goal, he earned his Master Electrician license and helped build Tork Electric into a trusted electrical contractor in the community.

Dan remains closely involved in every project, working directly with clients to understand their goals, develop thoughtful electrical solutions, prepare project proposals, and oversee execution from start to finish. When needed, he still joins his team in the field, bringing the same hands-on approach that has defined his career. His experience, leadership, and dedication to quality craftsmanship continue to shape Tork Electric's reputation throughout North Idaho.

Co-Owner

Brissa Peterson

Brissa Peterson is the co-owner of Tork Electric and has helped build the company from the ground up over the past 16 years. As a Sandpoint native, Brissa holds a bachelor’s degree in business and oversees the company’s operations, administration, and long-term growth. She is passionate about building a strong team culture, prioritizing workplace safety, and providing dependable service to customers throughout the community.

Project Management

Robert Price

Robert Price joined the team at Tork Electric in 2019, bringing with him decades of experience in the electrical industry. Originally from Colorado, Robert began his career in the electrical trade in 1997 and later earned his Master Electrician license.

At Tork Electric, Robert oversees projects from the initial bidding and design phases through layout, crew coordination, and overall project management. He plays a vital role in keeping projects organized, efficient, and on schedule, while also stepping into the field when needed to support project completion. His extensive industry knowledge, leadership, and hands-on approach make him a valued member of the Tork Electric team.
